Observations: I believe this was a mileage PR for the week.  Two solid workouts last week … Thursday tempo and long run. It kind of blows out the theory of “up to 55 mpw” for my marathon plan as we are no where near max out week.  As the weather gets cooler and I’m feeling good, mileage will gradually increase … no more than 10% per week.  Nothing insane, as I’m still only going 5 days per week.  Sooner or later I will increase it to 6.  It’s TBD what I actually do on that 6th day … maybe short intervals (e.g., 10x200s) or fartleks, etc to maintain some measure of fast twitch and form as the build continues.
